In 1985, Bill and his wife Kathy Bahret purchased Vintage Ford Parts located in Orange California, from Con Bliss. Con acquired the company from Harold Looney, the founder of Vintage Auto Parts.

Bill & Kathy moved the entire inventory to Stanton California on May 19th, 1986. This became the home of Vintage Ford Parts for the next 19 years. Over the next few years, Bill expanded the supply of car parts through 1959 and truck parts through 1979. We asked Bill to the key of their success;


In 2004, the shopping center where Vintage Ford Parts was located was to be redeveloped. Bill & Kathy were given the option to sell or move the business. They elected to sell.

Huntington Beach here we come….. On March 14, 2005 Ed Ybarra and family acquired the inventory and assets of Vintage Ford Parts and created a new company, Vintage Ford & Street Rod Parts. Ed and family opened the new company in their home town of Huntington Beach, California.

After more than 4 years in Huntington Beach, we made a tough decision to leave HB. As our internet business has grown we have found it more practical to operate from a warehouse with "Will Call" capability in support of local customers. We want to thank Bill, Kathy and their employees for their contributions made to the Vintage Automobile Collectors worldwide. We look forward to continuing the legacy and at the same time offering a broader mix of products.
